This was a school project to make a modena style food vinegar product family. We created a persona and make up the brand for him/her. Balsamic vinegar of Modena is a variety of balsamic vinegar and a PGI condiment from Italy. It is produced according to various recipes.
The War of the Bucket or the War of the Oaken Bucket (Italian: Guerra della secchia rapita) was fought in 1325 between the rival city-states of Bologna and Modena. It took place in the region of Emilia-Romagna, in northern Italy. The war was an episode in the over 300-year-long struggle between Guelphs and Ghibellines. Modena won the Battle of Zappolino, the only battle of the war, and the bucket remains in Modena to this day.
A common myth surrounding the War of the Bucket is that it was caused by the Modenese stealing a bucket from a Bolognese well. However, that is mostly incorrect, as the bucket was, according to most accurate accounts, taken as a trophy by the Modenese after the war—in fact war was declared because Modena had captured the Bolognese castle of Monteveglio. A wooden bucket is kept in the Torre della Ghirlandina in Modena to this day.

De sagittis Ungarorum libera nos Domine!

Most of them refer to the Modena hymn and the lithian of Freising. Modena’s prayer was born at the beginning of the 900’s, published by the Italian historian Ludovico Antonio Muratori in 1738, the verse for Modena’s patron Saint Geminianus. According to legend, he has saved Modena from Attila. To this end, he calls for a plea to the saint: “ab Ungerorum nos defendas jaculis.” That is, “protect us from the arrows of the Hungarians.” The other surviving source is a litanic text that may also reflect the fear of the Hungarians. This is the case of Abraham’s bishop of Freising, from where the name of Freising lithian is, and this work returns the corresponding line: “ab invasion alienigenarum lib (era nos domine).” “Save us from the invasion of strangers, Lord, us.” this was most likely related to the Hungarians.
